Case Donkers, a prominent Dutch architect and urbanist, founder of QASE-UrbanStudio, former city architect of Eindhoven (Netherlands), will give a public lecture in Yerevan. In the 1990s, after Eindhoven-based Philips corporation began to move its production to Asia, the city went into decline. Case Donkers was the ideologist behind the city development plan to transform it into a centre of science and design.

Big leftover former industrial sites in the heart of cities are being transformed into nowadays urban villages. Creative forms for future generations like loft housing and tiny houses open up a new way of life for urban communities.
